The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the novice continues to be one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, consistently making massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters met for the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
